Blisteringly fast on the track, and approachable and likeable off it, Callum is a natural racing talent.
A passion for competition. Head-turning speed. An unshakable belief. A determination to be a champion, the force that is Callum has arrived in the World Endurance Championship Hypercar category for 2024, and will be driving the number 12 car for Hertz Team JOTA.
After his 2021 season role as Ferrari's official F1 Test Driver and F1 Reserve at Alfa Romeo ORLEN, Callum made the leap to fully-fledged Indycar driver with a full time race seat for 2022. This move earmarked him by some as a 'generational talent', and showcased his unique abilities, putting his one car start-up team Juncos Hollinger Racing (JHR) into the Indycar top 10 regularly on race weekends in 2022. Callum's second season in Indycar in 2023, again with JHR, saw him put his rookie team into a 12th place finish in the Indy 500, and bring them top 5 finishes twice to help Chevrolet win the Engine Manufacturer's Championship.
Mastering ovals, the USA's street races and road courses, together with experience of the iconic Indy 500 race has rounded out an all ready impeccable single seater racing CV for Callum. His 2021 driving role of F1 testing and FP1s, with two different F1 teams, is incredibly rare in F1. To add a debut and then a podium at Le Mans (GTE AM), and then two seasons in Indycar illustrates how highly valued Callum is among motorsport’s talent spotters.
From the moments he became British Karting Champion in 2011 and European Karting Champion in 2014, Callum has maximised his skills to succeed where other drivers often fail.
Success in international karting, the FIA F3 European Championship and the GP3 Series has shaped Callum into a formidable competitor. Finishing runner-up in the 2020 FIA Formula 2 Championship was a fitting way for him to reach the top of the junior formulae ladder after more than a decade of unimaginably hard work, untold sacrifices and never being afraid to take risks.
