Formula 3 met its 3 wheeled nemesis this weekend when Callum appeared as a guest driver at Coventry MotoFest. His driving weapon of choice was the Morgan 3-wheeler sporting an eye catching paint job painted by Pop Bang Colour's contemporary artist, Ian cook.  After downsizing from 4 wheels to 3, Callum took to the cool, jazzed up Morgan quickly during two demonstration runs during the Classic Car parade.

Ian Cook, who bravely passengered with Callum, is a contemporary British artist internationally known for his unique form of painting. Ian creates his art solely using the method of radio-controlled cars, car tyres and toy car wheels as his paintbrushes.  is work has a quirky edge which captures attention through his unusual method of working and the premise of live performance art at automotive events.

Coventry MotoFest is a motoring based festival born out of an unrivalled heritage of transport innovation and development centred in Coventry.  Cars, motorcycles, live music, trucks, buses, films, stock cars, armoured vehicles, taxis, art, stalls, design, education, prototypes, engineering, and even some bicycles take part. In short, if it’s got something to do with transport, has a connection to the City of Coventry and probably involves an engine in some way, it’ll be there.

With more cars and more action than ever before, motorsport at MotoFest 2016 had a host of great events throughout the weekend.  For 2016 there was a short track oval with Stock cars, Legends, Gymkhana cars and others to generate a huge quantity of tyre smoke in a venue within the city centre! Plus a long track with dedicated viewing areas, race cars, classic cars, race trucks and motorcycles on closed sections of the iconic ring road, and a grand procession at the end of the day to showcase every car taking part in MotoFest this year.
