"It's great to experience the challenge of racing the Macau circuit again in the new F3 car. It was also fun working alongside Enzo Fittipaldi and David Schumacher on their rookie outings.

P3 in qualifying was really pleasing in an unfamiliar car and I think probably flattered our race pace a little.

I got an ok start in the qualification race, considering it was the first one I have done in this car against drivers familiar with the procedure, and fell back one position. I held 4th for a while in the middle part of the race. I then made a small mistake pushing hard to try and make up places, so from then on I took it more conservatively and ended up in fifth at the chequered flag.

We changed a lot of the things on the car after Saturday's qualification race in an effort to win the big prize.

Unfortunately, I messed up the start in the Grand Prix pushing for the good start I needed and that meant I lost a lot on the long run down to Lisboa. I was down to P8 or P9. We managed to make up some places from there and the pace was pretty good. I lost a bit of time to the front guys from the Virtual Safety Car and trying to work back from that was difficult with the laps counting down. A top 3 Position was certainly achievable with the changes we made and on another day. The team did a good job all weekend so a big thank you to them."
